The Ashtanga Primary Series is a set sequence of postures usually held for 5 breaths, with dynamic Vinyasas in between. Nori teaches a modified version of it, and aims to balance the straight lines of Ashtanga with curved stretches, dynamic pulses and hoppings inspired by the Bowspring method. The Bowspring is a new approach for functional posture, to restore the natural S-curve in the spine.

About the yoga teacher: Nori
Nori lives in Berlin since 2010. Yoga gave her the ability to observe the mind, and this was a fresh approach to understanding emotions and thoughts. As a psychologist she is interested in how yoga can change our stress response and cultivate resilience, and her goal is to share yoga as a self-care oriented practice – without performance pressure or competition. She encourages you to listen to what your body needs in her classes, and is convinced the most blissful yoga experience happens between instruction and inner cues.
